The Real Meaning of All-Inclusive

At Lazy J Grand Lodge, we have always set the standard for an all-inclusive pheasant hunting package. With over 100 years of working and living on this land, the Jorgensen family not only knows the best places to find pheasants on the 20,000 plus acres of land we manage and hunt, but we also know how to provide all the things our guest have come to expect with guided pheasant hunts.

You will start out each morning with a hearty homemade breakfast, and then, after a cup of coffee or perhaps a bit of practice on our skeet range, we head out into the field. Pheasant shooting hours after the first week of the season are from 10:00 a.m. to sunset, which provides the pheasants time to feed undisturbed before the hunt gets started.

One of our experienced all-inclusive pheasant hunting guides will bring you to the field we are hunting, and help you to set-up and move throughout the day. In addition, we have professionally trained dogs to make bird retrieval easy, and you are welcome to bring your own bird dogs if you wish.

While on the hunt you will enjoy lunch and snacks, arriving back at the Lazy J Grand Lodge in time for hors d’oeuvres, to enjoy a drink, or just relax. Then, prepare yourself for a true hunter’s home-cooked dinner to keep you satisfied until the morning. This is all offered at extremely competitive pheasant hunting prices, which is always appreciated by our guests.

As an all-inclusive pheasant hunting outfitter, we have everything you need, including ammunition, transportation to the field and back, unlimited sporting clays for sighting in weapons and getting in some practice, as well as full bird processing while you relax.

All guests will also enjoy a guided tour of the Jorgensen Land & Cattle operations and headquarters, and there are places to walk, sit outside and relax, or just enjoy a drink and some great conversation. Indoors, guests can enjoy satellite TV and Wi-Fi in the lodge, or sit outside on the patio and grill area and take in a beautiful South Dakota sunrise or sunset.
